You were sire of champions,and were yourself national champion (2000), winning hearts the world over. Above all, I thank you, my dear Ari, for all the love you gave so unconditionally. I miss you every day.

Ayla, you and Ari produced some of the most beautiful Leos in the country. And how you shone for your Andy in the ring! How painful it was to lose you so soon after blessing us with twelve beautiful Leonberger puppies. They shine just as you did! We will never forget your love and devotion to our family. My heart still aches for you. Thank you so much, my Ayla, for coming into our lives.

How amazingly fortunate we were to be blessed with Libby for 11 years and 9 months. Libby gifted us with an abundance of beautiful babies, grandbabies, and great-grandbabies, and she left her stamp on each one of them. If she wasn't busy being a mom, she was busy keeping our household in order, unless of course, Dad, (the light of her life) was offering her a run, hike, or swim.

Yes, she was a champion, even into her senior years, but beyond those pretty ribbons, she was truly a champion in our hearts where she will remain until we meet her again someday at the Rainbow Bridge. Goodbye for now our beloved Libby Lou. And thank you for being the best at everything you chose to do, especially loving us.

Gussy was from our A litter.......an incomparable litter from Ayla and Ari.

Due to circumstances out of his control, Gussy came back to us when he was still quite young. And there he stayed until his last breath at over 11 years of age.

He was truely an incredible creature. Though he is remembered by Leo lovers around the world as a great champion in the show ring, he will alway be THE great champion of our hearts. He was the gentlest, sweetest Leonberger angel on this earth. When those wings carried him to the Rainbow bridge we thought our hearts would break. And though he leaves behind a legacy of wonderful Leo "kids", there will never be another Gussy Galoot. We miss you Gussy. Thank you for all of the smiles, cheers, laughs, and tears.
